Myself and two other girls Toni, and Niaysha who I had the pleasure to meet and work with during my trip to Kenya and my work at kcc wanted to take our experience outside of Niavasha and bring it home with us. By sharing what we saw, did ,and learned about how kcc functions and what the people are like who live in the slums. Hoping that we shed some light into other peoples perceptions of slum life and what the kids and families go through on a a day to day basis, helping kcc and the kids get the support they need! Each of us three girls hope to raise 1000$ each for a project we want to put together for the kids. We also hope to inspire other people around us to get involved and sponsor a child themselves.
